Athens 9th June, 2021

The Company agreed with Subsea 7 to manufacture and supply LSAW steel pipes for the tie-back of Zinia Phase 2 wells at depths of 1,200m, back to the existing Pazflor FPSO - floating production storage and offloading unit.  After a thorough testing phase and their lay out on the seabed, these pipes are now in use by TotalEnergies.

This marks another milestone in Corinth Pipeworks’ growing offshore presence as end-users and lay-contractors continue to use the Company’s latest welded pipe technology for offshore applications.

"We enjoyed working once again with Subsea 7 for the TotalEnergies Zinia Phase 2 project" said Ilias Bekiros, CEO for Corinth Pipeworks.  "During a long time period, Corinth Pipeworks has built a strong track-record in the execution of offshore linepipe projects in global markets.  The successful supply of LSAW pipes to TotalEnergies was a very important milestone for our company.  Further, the introduction of technology driven cost reduction measures to our plant in Greece will help ensure that upstream tie-back project developments like Zinia Phase 2 will remain an important part of the future energy mix."
