Corinth Pipeworks has adopted a coherent, integrated sustainability strategy that incorporates actions for all major risks and opportunities related to the environment, society and corporate governance.
As a result, the Company is pleased to announce that it has received an EcoVadis rating of 64/100, Silver Award. This rating is determined by the four pillars of sustainability: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. This rating ranks Corinth Pipeworks among the Top 25% companies, evaluated internationally by EcoVadis.
The EcoVadis organization evaluates the performance and sustainability practices for more than 100,000 companies in 175+ countries, in 200+ industries, examining the policies they adopt and the practices they implement. The assessment is based on 21 criteria, focused on international sustainability standards, such as the Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labor Organization (ILO), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and the ISO 26000 standard.
Corinth Pipeworks achieved a high performance rating, as a result of its commitment and holistic approach in integrating sustainability issues into its business strategy.
