Corinth Pipeworks Pipe Industry SA announces that on 22nd and 23rd of February 2018, signed agreements with Subsea 7 to manufacture and supply steel pipes for two subsea tie-back projects to FPSOs operated by AkerBP in the Norwegian Sea.
The agreements cover polypropylene coated steel outer pipes for pipe-in-pipe flowlines for:
- Skogul project – 14” linepipe for an 18 kilometer gas pipeline.
- Aerfugl project – 16” linepipe for a 21 kilometer gas pipeline.
The pipes for the offshore pipeline will be manufactured in 2018 in Corinth Pipeworks’ HFI pipe mill located in Thisvi, Greece, and Subsea 7’s installation by reel-lay is scheduled in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
